Why This Survey Matters

Only two moderately comprehensive American perfusion practice surveys have ever been conducted — in 1977 and 1993. This longitudinal series, spanning more than two decades, tracks how adult perfusion practice has evolved across anticoagulation, circuit technology, blood management, monitoring, and emerging practices like Goal-Directed Perfusion and del Nido cardioplegia.
